Gladwyne Personal Training uses research based training methods with strength and cardio influences to help keep your heart rate elevated throughout the duration of your workout. You will burn fat while building muscle – turning your body into a fat burning machine. Your new fat loss workout, along with nutritional guidance, will help to kick start your Fitness journey.

GPT helps take the guess work out of your workouts by providing the tools and programming to get the most out of your time.

Your GPT trainer may also incorporate regular cardiovascular and High Intensity Interval Training (HiiT) to keep you working hard while helping to prevent plateaus (when your body adjusts to a stimulus and results stall).

Strength Training

Strength training uses resistance in the form of weights, bands, machines or your own body weight. Strength training increases muscular strength and endurance, improves cardiovascular health, increases bone density and helps to stabilize joints and reduce body fat.

Strength training is not just for the seasoned athlete – beginners, as well as advanced athletes can benefit from the addition of strength training in their routines.

Gladwyne Personal Training will create an individualized program with a wide array of exercises to promote strength and muscle building. Each program is different and created to improve overall health and well-being.

Flexibility Training

WORK AT A DESK ALL DAY? WE HAVE A STRETCHING PROGRAM FOR THAT!

Most people, even those who exercise regularly, forget to stretch & practice flexibility. At the end of each workout, each GPT client will go through a stretching program tailored to their needs. This is designed to help loosen tight hips or hamstrings, stiff shoulders, a sore back – whatever it is that is bothering you.

Do you want a program tailored specifically toward flexibility and stretching? We can do that too! We have an ex-Division 1 Gymnast whose specialty is flexibility training and programming. We’ve got you covered!

Nutritional Programs

Gladwyne Personal Training can help you make better food choices with recommendations on daily intake. Good diet choices – fats, proteins and…yes, carbohydrates – are necessary for creating a healthy lifestyle.

Making the right dietary choices on a daily basis is a challenge for a lot of people. GPT will create a program that holds you accountable while educating on proper nutritional guidelines.

You can’t out-train a bad diet so we strive to help all GPT clients learn the proper ways to make better choices.
